Circulation Map changes were made on Monday, April 30th to change the circulation policies for books, videos, audios, audiobooks, etc. These changes will go into effect on May 1st. Most policies were migrated; some lines of the map (including those affecting fine-exempt patrons) did not yet migrate. We are finishing up the map work this morning (5/1). In addition, this morning we are running reports that convert DVDs with the item type of VIDEO to the item type of DVD. Libraries that notice problems with their circulation loan periods should notify the PALS Plus office immediately. Hold map changes did not yet get coded. These will be done today. These new changes will make videos, audios, DVDs, audiobooks, etc. requestable across the system as long as they have been in the PALS Plus system for at least three months.
